Pryce Sandfort has emerged as one of the Big Ten’s most dynamic perimeter threats during the 2025-26 college basketball season, establishing himself as a key player for Nebraska.
The 6-foot-7, 215-pound junior forward transferred to the Cornhuskers after beginning his career with Iowa, bringing with him a reputation as an elite shooter and scorer. A native of Waukee, Iowa, Sandfort was named the state’s Mr. Basketball in 2023 following his high school career at Waukee Northwest, where he led his team to deep postseason runs.
Sandfort’s impact in Lincoln has been immediate and significant. He is averaging more than 17 points per game and has become one of the nation’s most prolific 3-point shooters. Known for his quick release and deep range, Sandfort set Nebraska’s single-season record for 3-pointers in 2026, surpassing 113 made shots from beyond the arc. His scoring ability and floor spacing have played a key role in Nebraska’s push to the NCAA Tournament.
A high-volume offensive option, Sandfort consistently stretches defenses and creates scoring opportunities both for himself and his teammates. His combination of size and shooting touch makes him a difficult matchup on the wing.
