Scarlett Johansson was photographed filming the forthcoming “Exorcist” reboot alongside her co-star Chiwetel Ejiofor in New York City.
The actress stepped out without makeup while working on the highly anticipated Mike Flanagan-directed movie on Tuesday afternoon.
She appeared worried as she engaged in a tense conversation with Ejiofor outside of a building closed off with yellow police tape.
Johansson, 41, and Ejiofor, 48, were also surrounded by police officer extras for the scene.
The “Lost in Translation” star sported a red button-up shirt, jeans, a coat and sneakers for the outing.
Ejiofor, meanwhile, wore a gray coat and pants.
Johansson’s character portrays a mom, with actor Jacobi Jupe as her on-screen son.
“Scarlett is a brilliant actress whose captivating performances always feel grounded and real, from genre films to summer blockbusters,” Flanagan said in a statement released in November.
“I couldn’t be happier to have her join this ‘Exorcist’ film.”

The movie, set for release in March 2027, will also star Carla Gugino, Diana Lane, John Leguizamo and Hamish Linklater.
The horror movie will be set in “The Exorcist” universe.
However, it will have a whole new storyline and won’t be a sequel to the 2023 movie “The Exorcist: Believer.”
The original 1973 “Exorcist” film’s lifetime gross has garnered $441 million and earned two Academy Awards, was directed by William Friedkin.
The Friedkin-directed movie starred Ellen Burstyn as Chris MacNeil.
In the film, MacNeil sought the help of priests to perform an exorcism on her daughter Regan MacNeil, portrayed by actress Linda Blair.
