Where Winds Meet Walkthrough: How to complete Ever-Normal Granary Campaign quest

Ever-Normal Granary in Where Winds Meet is one of the Campaign quests that you can find in Kaifeng. During the quest, you must investigate the source of the dispute over the granary and discover some hidden secrets. The story has a pretty tragic end, but completing it will reward you with several in-game items and unlock a new Campaign boss.

How to complete the Ever-Normal Granary Campaign quest in Where Winds Meet

Go to the Granary of Plenty, southeast of Kaifeng City, and interact with the NPCs talking to the guard near the Granary. This will start the Ever-Normal Granary Campaign quest in Where Winds Meet.

Visit the Master of Granary at Autumn Dusk Dwelling

Go to Autumn Dusk Dwelling and meet the Master of Granary. He will give you the Ever-Normal Token and allow you to release the food for the crisis.

Enter Ever-Normal Granary and find Li Shoujie

Return to the Granary and show the token to the guard. Next, enter the Ever-Normal Granary to find Li Shoujie.

Inspect the Granary and defeat the guards

Follow the navigation and check the Granary for food, only to find the place empty and be confronted by Li Shoujie. Next, you must defeat all the guards.

Go to the marked location and check the watchtower

Follow the quest navigation and climb to the top of the watchtower. Once there, use the elevator to go underground.

Head underground and locate the Underground Granary

Open the gate and head deeper (Image via NetEase)

Defeat all the enemies and go deeper into the tunnel to find a gate. Activate the mechanism to open it, and keep moving until you reach a blue-ish area filled with fungi. Next, squeeze through the gap to get to the other side.

Use Fire Arrows to burn all buds

Switch to Bow and use Fire Arrows to destroy the Dawn-to-Dusk Blossom Buds. This will burn the vines and clear the path.

Continue to investigate

Burn the buds to lower the bridge (Image via NetEase)

Get into the crouching position and pass through the gap. Next, defeat the mob before burning both buds to lower the bridge. Once that is done, keep moving until you reach the chasm.

Burn buds and leap to the platform

Use Fire Arrows to burn the buds and leap to the platform. Keep doing this until you reach the other side of the chasm. You can also find a bunch of chests on the platforms.

Find the source of the sound and rescue the man

Follow the source of the sound to find a group of guards talking to a man. Next, defeat all the guards and interact with the man.

Find Lord Shen and continue to investigate

Follow the quest marker until you reach a gate with a few mobs infected by fungus. Defeat them and activate the mechanism to open the gate. Next, get on the elevator to go down.

Go up and clear the waterwheel's vines

Follow the quest marker to find a few enemies on the other side of the waterwheel and defeat them. Next, go to the waterwheel and activate the mechanism before burning all three buds. Note that the buds regrow very quickly, so you must burn all of them fast to open the gate.

Examine everything for clues

Pass through the gate and get to the other side to find an NPC hanging from the vines.

Rescue the man and speak with him

To rescue the man, you must burn all seven buds. Start by burning the two (red circles) closest to the chest before burning the two (purple circles) on the right side. Finally, burn the remaining three buds (yellow circles) connected to the tree. Once the man is free, speak with him to get more info.

Follow Shen Yilun to the secret passage and enter it

Follow Shen Yilun and enter the passage by squeezing through. This will take you to another realm, and you must follow the marker to see a cutscene.

Defeat Zhang E

After the cutscene, you'll return to the real world. Following Shen again will trigger another cutscene before starting the final fight of the quest, and you must defeat Zhang E. The boss has two HP bars, and he has strong projectile attacks, so your dodging and parrying skills have to be good.

Witness the story's conclusion

After the fight, talk to Zhang E. This will teleport you to Autumn Dusk Dwelling and complete the Ever-Normal Granary Campaign quest in Where Winds Meet, and you will get the following rewards:

• Soul Weave: Tome x1
• Snowborne Fan x1
• Medicinal Tales x1
• Oscillating Jade x5
• Echo Jade x55
• Coin x 43000
• Enlightenment Point x100
• Kaifeng Exploration x105

Additionally, you'll get some Character EXP. After this, you can talk to Zhang E again to start a post-quest, but it's not a part of the Campaign quest.
