Both teams have played two games in the in-season tournament, currently boasting an identical 1-1 record. The Warriors, however, are in fifth place in West Group C owing to their -24 points difference, while the Blazers are in fourth position with a -22 points difference.

The Blazers have lost their last four games, while the Warriors are on a two-game losing streak. Portland and Golden State matched up in a regular-season game last month, with the Blazers recording a 139-119 win.

Deni Avdija, who is enjoying a breakout season in the NBA, will lead the starters once again. Avdija leads the team in scoring with 25.9 points per game, while he also averages 6.7 rebounds and 5.2 assists.

Sidy Cissoko will share the backcourt with Avdija, while Jerami Grant and Toumani Camara will be on the wing. Donovan Clingan will lead the frontcourt from the center position.

Steph Curry, Jimmy Butler, and Draymond Green sat out the previous game, but all three veterans are set to return to the starting lineup. Moses Moody and rookie Will Richard, who logged starts against the Heat, will continue to hold their spots.

Scoot Henderson, Damian Lillard, Matisse Thybulle and Blake Wesley continue to remain sidelined. Henderson is out with a left hamstring tear, Lillard is recovering from a left Achilles tendon injury, Thybulle is sidelined with a left thumb ligament tear and Wesley is out with a right foot fracture.

On the flipside, the Warriors' injury report has five names ahead of the NBA Cup contest. Jimmy Butler (low back soreness), Draymond Green (Illness) and Buddy Hield (illness) are listed as probable. Jonathan Kuminga (bilateral knee tendonitis) and De'Anthony Melton (knee) are ruled out.
