On November 21, 2025, TIRTIR unveiled a preview of its upcoming large-scale showcase on Burj Khalifa announcing BTS' V aka Kim Taehyung as its first-ever global representative. The full showcase is scheduled for November 22 and will be presented as part of a 10-day pop-up event at the Dubai Mall Fountain.

Middle East–based retailer Namshi and Korean beauty brand TIRTIR have partnered for this 10-day immersive showcase, running from November 21 to 30, 2025. The collaboration highlights the brands’ top-selling products, introduces exclusive launches, and offers event-specific activities designed for visitors in Dubai.

A major focus of the initiative is the official introduction of TIRTIR’s new global ambassador through a large-scale illumination on Burj Khalifa featuring Taehyung. The illumination is one of TIRTIR’s most ambitious global promotional efforts to date.

The 44-second Instagram teaser, released on November 21, features clips and images from Taehyung’s photoshoots with TIRTIR. After the preview was shared on TIRTIR Global’s Instagram Stories, fans circulated the clip widely across social platforms, leading to a surge of reactions and online discussions. One fan wrote,

Taehyung set for third Burj Khalifa feature as TIRTIR and Namshi launch immersive Dubai pop-up event

However, this is not Taehyung’s first display on the Burj Khalifa. As of November 2025, he is appearing on the landmark 3 times, making him the only K-pop soloist to achieve this distinction. His first 2 illuminations are birthday projects organized on December 29, 2020, for his 25th birthday, and on December 30, 2021, for his 26th. The upcoming presentation on November 22 will be his third feature on the world’s tallest building.

Discussion around the possibility of the illumination began earlier when Namshi responded to a fan, hinting that Taehyung “may or may not be lighting up the Burj Khalifa on the 22nd.” The speculation was later supported through various reports, including an update from Fashion Style on November 18, 2025.

The Namshi x TIRTIR pop-up opens on November 21 and will operate daily from 10 am to 11 pm at the Dubai Mall Fountain. Designed as an interactive beauty experience, the venue allows UAE visitors to try TIRTIR’s products through on-site demonstrations, personalized features, and access to several new items being introduced for the first time.

Among the key offerings is the Mask Fit Red Cushion, now available in 40 shades. Attendees can test the product and purchase engraved versions through a live customization service exclusive to the event. TIRTIR is also reintroducing its Matcha skincare line, including the Matcha Biome Cream and Toner, which previously sold out. These items will return in limited quantities during the showcase.

The pop-up will also present global-first product debuts, such as a dual highlighter and a multipurpose lip-and-cheek stick. Complementing the beauty experience, Backyard Café has curated a matcha-themed menu created specifically for the event. Visitors can select from a variety of matcha drinks and personalize their cups with themed stickers while sampling snacks inspired by TIRTIR’s signature products.


TIRTIR has appointed Taehyung as its first global ambassador on November 3, 2025, with the goal of expanding its global reach. The partnership aims to promote the brand’s message of “my own beauty” to a broader audience. According to a TIRTIR representative Taehyung’s image, known for highlighting individuality and diversity, aligns well with the identity the brand seeks to project.
