Cave Systems

99 Nights in the Forest has added a new game mode called the Cave, where you must descend into underground regions and explore twisting tunnels teeming with danger. Inside these tunnels, you will find several crystals that can be lit up using a flashlight. These will also help you learn the whole storyline from the previous update.

You can enter the Cave either solo or along with your friends, where you'll face the Bat entity and reach the end by defeating strong cultists. You can find it at the same location where the Deer fought with the unknown creature in the previous update.

New Bat entity

A terrifying bat has been sighted deep within the forest, emitting its screech echoes from below. What the beast lacks in insight, it makes up for with its ear-splitting scream.

The Bat entity was engaged in the fight with the Deer during the previous update. With the addition of cave systems, you can now enter its cave and explore it while defeating the new variants of cultists. As you go deeper ahead, you'll face stronger enemies with better loot and buffs.

New cultist variants

Inside the cave, you'll face cultists who are stronger and far more devoted to the darkness. They will attack you aggressively with more damage than the regular ones. As you move deep inside the caves, you'll face tougher variants of cultists that deal heavier damage.

Deeper regions

While progressing deeper into the cave, some areas remain sealed, which will be introduced in the upcoming updates, as per the developers. Regions like mine have entrances that are currently closed using wooden planks.
