Brainrot Evolution is an incremental simulator where you become a brainrot character and fight off NPCs to gain experience points and evolve. With each evolution, you gain health and damage buffs that help defeat stronger enemies.

To quickly gain better stats, the game allows you to reroll for different Trinkets that imbue several health, damage, and XP boosts. On November 22, 2025, Brainrot Evolution launched its Thanksgiving Combinasion update that introduced the new Thankful Trinket. This guide will teach you how to collect Thankful Shards and reroll the new Trinket.

Brainrot Evolution allows you to collect Thankful Shards in the following ways:

By Defeating NPCs

Each defeated NPC has some chance of dropping Thankful Shards. The amount of currency they drop also varies with the level of your enemy.

To fast-track your farming sessions, you can prioritize grinding inside the low-tier worlds and claim one-shot kills. You can also equip luck boosters to enhance the drop chances.

By clearing Thankful Event pass levels

The Thankful Event also came with a limited-time event pass, which can be completed by clearing event quests. Upon clearing each challenge, you'll get experience and pass points, which can help you clear the event pass levels faster.

Here are some examples of quests that can be cleared hourly or weekly:

Hourly quests

  • Kill some monsters.
  • Open some eggs.
  • Kill some Elite Monsters.

Weekly quests

  • Eat some pieces of food.
  • Play for some time.
  • Kill some bosses.
  • Kill some monsters.
  • Open some eggs.
  • Kill some Elite Monsters.

You can claim these Thankful Shards at the following levels of the event pass:

  • At level two of the free pass (200 shards) and the elite pass (300 shards)
  • At level five of the free pass (200 shards) and the elite pass (600 shards)
