Rob Hartman, who is the Grant Thornton Invitational director, recently gave an interview to the PGA Tour. Hartman discussed how the 2025 Grant Thornton Invitational was able to put together a field that included existing champions as well as golfers who are still on the rise in the sports world. The director also expressed how pleased the entire crew is with the talented golfers competing in this competition.

Hartman explained,

"We are thrilled with the 16 dynamic teams we’ve been able to put together for this year. The interest from both tours continues to be high, and we are incredibly pleased with the collection of world-class players heading to Tiburón Golf Club this December. These mixed teams are comprised of current-year winners from both tours, many of the game’s rising stars and established veterans, and major champions."

The 2025 Grant Thornton will take place between December 12-14, with Patty Tavatanakit and Jake Knapp entering as the defending champions. They finished the 2024 edition of the event with a total score of 27 under par, winning the whole thing by a bare margin of 1 shot.
