The WWE Survivor Series: WarGames picture has changed dramatically since Seth Rollins’ injury. Earlier this year, WWE was reportedly planning a blockbuster WarGames showdown between Seth Rollins’ Vision and a team featuring Roman Reigns, The Usos, and some other massive names.
However, with Rollins now sidelined with a shoulder injury, that creative direction for WarGames has shifted entirely. Rumors suggest that the company might be planning a more eerie and chaotic path for the men’s WarGames match at Survivor Series 2025, possibly featuring The Wyatt Sicks vs the MFTs.
The two factions have been engaged in a massive rivalry on the blue brand lately, with their face-to-face interactions blowing up the internet. Since the return of the MFTs, the faction has been keen to take down every dominant force on SmackDown. This has led to their feud with the Wyatt Sicks, and could lead to their potential match at Survivor Series.

However, Uncle Howdy’s absence in the recent weeks has raised concern among fans. The star has been off TV due to his father, WWE Hall of Famer Mike Rotunda’s, health issues lately.
If WWE plans a Survivor Series showdown between the Wyatt Sicks and the MFTs, they might end up needing a replacement for Uncle Howdy. Let’s check out a few stars who could take his place in the potential WarGames match.
#3. Aleister Black
Aleister Black has the aura and the darkness to work perfectly along with The Wyatt Sicks. His eerie persona and cryptic style make him a natural fit for replacing Uncle Howdy in the potential match.
However, his current feud with Damian Priest and his heel run on the blue brand make his involvement in the storyline highly unlikely. While it might not happen, if WWE has no option to replace Uncle Howdy until the last minute, Aleister Balck could be the perfect candidate to fill in Howdy’s shoes.
#2. Karrion Kross
Karrion Kross had been released by the company earlier this year and has been working on the independent circuit ever since. The star has his own history with the Wyatt Sicks, but if the company plans to bring him back, he could be another great contender to replace Uncle Howdy.
Kross is undoubtedly one of the most intimidating characters in the industry, and his involvement in a destructive match like WarGames feels perfect. This would not only be a great storyline for Survivor Series, but could also bring Kross back to the company once again.
#1. Former WWE superstar Braun Strowman
Braun Strowman’s history with Bray Wyatt makes him the most emotionally fit and believable choice to replace Uncle Howdy. Strowman was released by WWE earlier this year, but has been vocal about his willingness to return for the right storyline.
His return and involvement in the storyline would immediately give The Wyatt Sicks a physical powerhouse and add more emotion for fans around the world. A potential twist like this could easily make the WarGames match incredible. Time will now tell what the company has in store for the stars next.
