Ukrainian knockout machine Roman Kryklia has faced the best, and he knows exactly what separates world champions from contenders.

The reigning ONE light heavyweight kickboxing and heavyweight Muay Thai world champion returns to action in an attempt to add yet another 26 pounds of gold in the main event of ONE Fight Night 37 on Friday, Nov. 7.

That evening, he faces undefeated Turkish slugger Samet Agdeve for the inaugural ONE heavyweight kickboxing world title.

Ahead of this clash pitting two knockout maestros, the 34-year-old opened up about the intangible qualities that have carried him to dominance across two weight classes.

"I have faced some of the best strikers in the world. And what makes me different is my [trust] in my coach, my discipline, and my desire to win," Roman Kryklia said.

The Champ Belts martial artist's mindset reflects the mentality that has carried him to a perfect 7-0 record in ONE Championship.

For the Ukrainian giant, who stands as the most dominant striker in two of the heaviest weight brackets in the striking realm, his desire to win hasn't diminished even after conquering multiple weight classes and opponents.

Roman Kryklia faces toughest test yet in promotional newcomer Samet Agdeve

While Roman Kryklia has dominated every assignment in ONE Championship, Agdeve represents a different kind of challenge that could threaten to derail the former's perfect tenure on the grandest stage of combat sports.

The 21-year-old promotional newcomer enters with his own unblemished record and knockout power, the latter of which has helped him put 12 opponents to sleep.

His knockout power may be potent, but more impressively, a lot of it has come via a variety of match-winning weapons.

For Roman Kryklia, whose desire to win has fueled his rise to two-sport, two-division dominance, that same hunger will be tested against a dangerous young fighter looking to announce his arrival on martial arts' grandest stage.
