Top AEW star confirms he will not return to WWE

A major AEW star apparently confirmed that he will not be returning to the WWE. The star left the Stamford-based promotion last year and seems to be enjoying his current run.

The top AEW star Ricochet doesn't want to return to the WWE again. The former Intercontinental Champion departed from the Stamford-based promotion last year and made his All Elite Wrestling debut at the All In 2024 event. He also transitioned into a heel during his run and currently leads The Demand faction involving Toa Liona and Bishop Kaun.

Meanwhile, a fan on the X social media platform shared a picture of all the ex-AEW stars, CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, Jade Cargill, and Ricky Saints, who are currently holding Gold in the rival promotion. The fan suggested Ricochet to return to the Stamford-based promotion like Punk, Cody, Jade, and Ricky.

However, Riocchet seems to have no interest in returning to the Sports Entertainment Juggernaut, as he gave the following answer to the fan's above question:

"Nooo f**king thank you."

Former WWE Champion is a big fan of Ricochet in AEW

The former WWE Champion, JBL, recently offered high praise for Ricochet's AEW run. Speaking on the Something to Wrestle podcast, JBL said that he loves what Ricochet is doing currently:

"I love what Ricochet's doing. He seems like a great guy, and every time I talk to him, I really like him, personally. What he's done with social media, I think, he's been fantastic. He's always creating something controversial. He always sticks up for his product. But he always finds a way to put himself over, and he does a great job of doing that. I love what he's doing. I think it's perfect for both AEW and for himself."

Ricochet, along with The Demand, is currently feuding with The Hurt Syndicate in AEW, and only time will tell what's next for him.
