Former two-time World Series champion Aubrey Huff made a disturbing comment, catching a firestorm among fans. Huff has been known to make controversial comments, but he might have gone too far in his latest remark.

The two-time San Francisco Giants championship member answered a question regarding whether he'll open the door for a young woman knocking. Without hesitating, Huff revealed the kind of things he'll do when put on the spot. He said, of course, he'll open the door, and added:

"Honestly? Without question! However, I would have two conditions. A ball gag will be placed in her mouth immediately upon arrival. After I've finished putting her through the headboard, she must leave immediately promising to never tell anyone."

One fan reposted this comment of Huff while adding:

"Retired MLB Twitter is a very …. “interesting” place"

Upon seeing this disturbing comment, fans distanced themselves from Huff, as the majority of them called him out for saying what he said.

"We don’t claim him anymore. He’s a devil ray for life," one fan commented. "Old Dawgs don't stop barking," one fan reacted. "That’s creepy af!" another reacted. "Petitioning the Rays to wipe him clean off their all-time records...entirely," one fan wrote. "There was a time when the worst of them, including him, were banned," another added. "It’s weird that this is actually on the saner end of things with him," one fan said.

Giants distanced themselves from Aubrey Huff amid controversial comments

Aubrey Huff was a key contributor for the Giants in their 2010 triumph. However, years later, he finds himself at odds with the organization with no one's fault but his own.

In February 2020, the Giants announced that Huff would not be invited to the franchise’s 10-year reunion of their 2010 championship squad. The club shared its reason behind the call, saying:

"Earlier this month, we reached out to Aubrey Huff to let him know that he will not be included in the upcoming 2010 World Series Championship reunion. Aubrey has made multiple comments on social media that are unacceptable and run counter to the values of our organization. While we appreciate the many contributions that Aubrey made to the 2010 championship season, we stand by our decision."

There have been several instances where Aubrey Huff became controversial. He tweeted an image of a shooting target riddled with bullet holes while adding:

"Getting my boys trained up on how to use a gun in the unlikely event …"

Now deleted, but previously, he also posted about the kidnapping of an Iranian woman for servitude. In August 2020, he called the Kenosha shooter a "national treasure."

It's easy to see why the Giants made the call when they did.
