Taxi Driver 3 opens with a tense new case set in Japan. The Rainbow Taxi team receives a desperate call from a young student named Iso, who asks Jang Seong-cheol for help. Before she can reveal her location, she is suddenly dragged away by the people she has been running from.

The team begins investigating immediately. Jang Seong-cheol visits the phone booth Iso has used and discovers that she is a student who has been saving money for her grandmother’s eye surgery. To gather more information, Kim Do-gi goes to Iso’s school disguised as her homeroom teacher. There, he meets Iso’s classmate Ye-ji.

Ye-ji reveals the that she and Iso are trapped in a loan-sharking scheme tied to an online gambling game. The game tricks players into taking massive loans and through it both girls fall into debt.

Iso, who has no parents and lives with her grandmother has not been able to pay her debt. To “repay” the debt the loan sharks then have offered her a way out, by going to Japan and work for them. Iso accepts this offer after which she has disappeared.

Learning how the scam operates, Rainbow Taxi's Go-eun enters the game herself. She is soon manipulated into taking a loan and, just like Iso, is abducted and taken to Japan. The Rainbow Taxi team follows immediately.

In Japan, Go-eun is taken to a suspicious location. Do-gi follows and they fight off the men who have brought her there. Inside, they find a room filled with women’s photos, passports and luggages revealing that the team have stepped into a full-scale human trafficking network run by a man name Matsuda Keita.

The Rainbow Taxi team soon discovers an underground fighting club connected to Matsuda. Winners of the matches are chosen to serve as his personal security guards. To attract Matsuda’s attention Do-gi picks a fight with the club’s strongest member and wins but in the process he runs into the police and Interpol.

Local police and an Interpol agent reveal that the man Do-gi has defeated is an undercover officer trying to infiltrate Matsuda’s circle. They ask Do-gi to work with them, but he refuses. Later, Matsuda summons Do-gi to tests him. Do-gi takes down all of Matsuda’s men, leading Matsuda to offer him to work for him, which Do-gi refuses as well.

Meanwhile, Go-eun hacks through Matsuda’s servers but cannot find the girls’ locations. They realize Do-gi must get closer to Matsuda to learn more. He meets Matsuda again staging a coincidence.

Matsuda tries to recruit him again this time tempting him with women. This confirms to the team that the kidnapped girls are nearby. Do-gi soon receives a freelance job from Matsuda’s group as a security guard during an illegal auction of trafficked women.

On the night of the auction, Do-gi infiltrates the venue disguised as one of Matsuda’s men. As the auction begins, the Rainbow Taxi team ambushes the event, fighting off Matsuda’s buyers and henchmen. They rescue the women being sold, but Iso is not among them.

To increase the trust more, Jang Seong-cheol steps forward as the man behind the previous night’s ambush and confronts Matsuda. To win Matsuda’s confidence, Do-gi stages a fake stabbing of Seong-cheol using a retractable knife.

This act convinces Matsuda completely. He asks Do-gi to take a brotherhood pledge with him by a ceremonial bond sealed with a drink at an altar. Meanwhile, the Rainbow Taxi team secretly recruits former gang members who once to ambush the ceremony. They storms in large numbers and overtake Matsuda’s men.

During the chaos, Do-gi help Matsuda escape to his base. This is where Iso and the remaining women are held. At the hideout, Do-gi finally attacks Matsuda.

Matsuda retaliates, but Do-gi quickly overpowers him. Desperate, Matsuda grabs a gun and aims it at Do-gi. Before he can pull the trigger however, the police and the Interpol officer arrives and shoots Matsuda dead.

As Interpol and Japanese police take over, Go-eun and the team rescue Iso and the remaining victims. The Rainbow Taxi team then returns to South Korea with part of the money recovered from Matsuda’s illegal operations.

Back home, Do-gi tracks down the two men who run the Korean side of the trafficking scheme and beats them, delivering justice on both fronts. Iso returns to school and reunites with Ye-ji.

The two friends embrace in relief, grateful that Iso has safely returned. With their emotional reunion, episodes 1 and 2 of Taxi Driver 3 come to a close.
