A Golden State Warriors legend has called out Steph Curry for staying quiet during the incident between Draymond Green and Steve Kerr on Tuesday. Tim Hardaway Sr. was baffled as to why Curry didn't get in the way and calm things down during the timeout.
In an appearance on SiriusXM NBA Radio on Wednesday, Hardaway was asked to give his take on the situation in Golden State. He knew that Curry isn't known for being vocal like a leader, but he wanted to see that side come out and take charge in a crucial time for the Warriors.
"Steph should've been the one standing up in that huddle, not somebody else," Hardaway said. "Steph should have been like, 'Yo, Dray, man. That's enough, man. Come on, man. Hey, let's get back into it, man. Let it go. Leave it alone.' Don't be sitting down there and catching your breath, thinking, 'Here we go again.' Steph isn't that type of person, but we don't what he's saying in the back."•

The player who stood up during the Draymond Green-Steve Kerr exchange was Moses Moody, who was trying to calm the former Defensive Player of the Year down. Steph Curry was sitting on the bench the entire time, though he's really not known for being vocal.
Green ended up walking away and going back to the locker room to cool off. Kerr managed to get his team motivated, and they went on an impressive run in the fourth quarter to earn the win over the Orlando Magic. Green and Kerr also downplayed the incident after the game.

Curry even joked that he was happy they weren't talking about him, but he did say that everyone knows how to be a professional in that locker room.
"They were just having a good conversation," Curry said, according to ClutchPoints. "It's kind of for them to talk about not me… I haven’t had a chance to talk to [Draymond]… I'm pretty sure we know how to be professional."Curry and the Golden State Warriors have no time for turmoil since they are back in action on Christmas. They will welcome Cooper Flagg and the Dallas Mavericks at the Chase Center as part of the NBA's traditional five-game Christmas Day schedule.
