Roman Reigns made his return to WWE on RAW, where he helped Cody Rhodes, CM Punk, and The Usos in their brawl against The Vision, Drew McIntyre and Brock Lesnar. The OTC also laid his hands on an 'NYPD' personnel, and wrestling veteran Vince Russo believes that the company should follow up on that storyline by having the former champion arrested in kayfabe.
Roman Reigns was last seen in action at Crown Jewel, where he lost to Bronson Reed in an Australian Street Fight. The OTC returned on the red brand this past Monday, where Brock Lesnar also made his return. While Reigns will be the fifth member of the babyfaces' team at Survivor Series: WarGames, the Beast Incarnate will be joining forces with The Vision and Drew McIntyre.
Roman Reigns took out Brock with a Superman Punch, and Speared Reed through a barricade. However, the former WWE Champion also accidentally laid out an 'NYPD' personnel while taking out Reed.
This was not the first time WWE has used fake cops to advance a storyline. However, Vince Russo was not impressed with the lack of follow-up, noting that even in kayfabe, raising hands on a cop should result in getting arrested.
"If a cop gets Speared through a barricade, somebody is going to be arrested. So we’ve got to follow up that story. That’s my problem. I like to at least try to make things make sense. If a cop is getting physically assaulted, there’s got to be repercussions to that, Coach."Roman Reigns will be present on WWE RAW next week
Roman Reigns has a score to settle with The Vision, as the heel faction has targeted him on multiple occasions. The OTC will be present on the upcoming edition of RAW, where he is likely to address his Survivor Series opponents. Aside from Reigns, Brock Lesnar will also be present on the flagship show, and things are likely to get physical again.
The OTC also has issues with teammates, as he was annoyed with The Usos following his loss to Bronson Reed at Crown Jewel. The former WWE Universal Champion is not very close to CM Punk or Cody Rhodes either, making the babyfaces' team in the Men's WarGames match an interesting amalgamation.
