Seasoned Team India pacer Mohammad Shami has been in impressive form in the ongoing Ranji Trophy 2025-26 season as he attempts to make a comeback to international cricket. In two matches for Bengal, he has claimed 15 wickets at an average of 10.46, with one five-fer and one four-fer.
The 35-year-old registered figures of 3-37 and 4-38 against Uttarakhand at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata and was named Player of the Match as Bengal won the clash by eight wickets. Shami followed it up with figures of 3-44 and 5-38 as Bengal got the better of Gujarat by 141 runs in Kolkata.
