The Philadelphia 76ers haven't lost yet this season.
They don't have Paul George to thank for that, though.
The 'Sixers have been doing it without PG13. They've been getting massive performances from the likes of Tyrese Maxey, VJ Edgecombe and Quentin Grimes. George has only been watching.
That remains true Tuesday night when the 76ers take on the Washington Wizards.
Why isn't Paul George playing tonight?
Paul George remains out due to injury.
George underwent arthroscopic knee surgery in July and hasn't yet recovered from that.
The 76ers haven't missed him so far. It has allowed for ample run and ample buckets for Maxey, Edgecombe and Grimes.
When is Paul George coming back?
PG13 could be back soon.
NBA insider Jake Fischer reported Monday that there is "positive momentum" for George to make his season debut in the next "week plus."
That would seem to point to the first week or two of November as George's return point.
It'll be interesting to see how he fits in once he's back, especially because Jared McCain still has to get back on the court at some point, too.\
