After a brutal loss in Game 3, the Toronto Blue Jays bounced back in Game 4 to tie the series.
Behind Vladimir Guerrero Jr., the Blue Jays produced a commanding 6-2 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers to snap Los Angeles' two-game winning streak. Toronto was able to get to Shohei Ohtani, who was on the mound in the World Series for the first time.
Now, this World Series is a true best-of-three, with the first team to two wins taking it home. That means that Game 5 represents a crucial opportunity for either side to get one-game closer to victory.
Game 5 represents the only home game left in the series that will be played in Dodgers Stadium, and the Dodgers are hoping it makes a different. Los Angeles will send Blake Snell out to the mound, as the lefty is coming off his worst performance of the playoffs thus far.
However, the Blue Jays see this game as a chance to put a stranglehold on the series. After regaining home-field advantage, Toronto could force Los Angeles to win two games at the Rogers Center, which is a daunting task for anyone.
The key to this game may be the Dodgers offense, which has gone quiet for the last 18 innings of play. While Shohei Ohtani and Freddie Freeman have played well, Los Angeles needs to give them more help against Blue Jays rookie starter Trey Yesavage.
