Kellen Moore's New Orleans Saints didn't stand a chance against the LA Rams on Sunday. The NFC South team dropped to 1-8 after a 34-10 loss to Sean McVay's team in Tyler Shough's first game as the full-time starter.
Fans flooded social media to call out coach Moore and demand his firing due to what they considered poor playcalling from the former Philadelphia Eagles' offensive coordinator.

i think the kellen moore experiment is over
Has this team run a single important play this year without committing a penalty? Fire Kellen Moore man. This is a joke.
Kellen Moore has some of the dumbest play calling I’ve ever seen. Carmichael was better
The criticism didn't stop there, as even the decision to make Shough the team's starting quarterback drew Kellen Moore more criticism.
"I’ve seen enough. If Kellen Moore thinks Tyler Shough is a viable QB1, he shouldn’t be allowed anywhere near the Saints’ draft board. Fire him before he turns the No. 1 pick into another practice squad experiment. New Orleans deserves better," one fan said. "Moore ain’t making it past the bye in 2026. He is the worst HC in the league, another fan said. "KELLEN MOORE MIGHT BE THE WORST REDZONE PLAY CALLER WE HAVE EVER SEEN," another fan said. The Saints showed signs of life in the second quarter, when they scored 10 points. The Rams still entered halftime 20-10 up. They extended the lead with a touchdown in each of the next quarters to secure the 34-10 win.
Matthew Stafford went 24 of 32 for 281 yards and four touchdowns. The Rams improved to 6-2 to stay atop the NFC West division standings, awaiting what the Seattle Seahawks do against the Washington Commanders.
Rams absolutely dismantled Kellen Moore, Saints
While Matthew Stafford and the Rams put up a show on every front, the Saints were unable to spend 20 minutes on offense. Sean McVay's squad led the time of possession 43:53 to 16:07, leaving little time for Tyler Shough to work with his offense.
The rookie quarterback went 15 of 24 for 176 yards with one touchdown and one interception. The Saints will play their final game before the bye week on Sunday against the Carolina Panthers in a divisional duel.
Meanwhile, fans continue to question their head coach's future with the organization.
