Jessica Pegula dropped a lighthearted reaction to the tennis world reacting to her husband Taylor Gahagen's favorite 38-year-old unranked tennis player. The American is competing at the WTA Finals, which commenced on November 1 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Amid Pegula's WTA Finals campaign, fans discovered that her husband's favorite tennis player is Romania's Monica Niculescu. She has won three singles and eleven doubles titles in her career, with a career-high ranking of World No. 28. The revelation surprised many fans, as one user on X shared her reaction, writing:

"Favorite thing I learned in press today BY FAR is that Jess Pegula’s husband Taylor is a huge Monica Niculescu fan."

The tweet garnered the attention of Pegula, who dropped a lighthearted and hilarious reaction, writing:

"Facts😂"

Pegula's latest appearance on the court was on November 2 in the first round of the WTA Finals against Coco Gauff. She delivered a dominant performance and defeated the 21-year-old, 6-3, 6-7(7), 6-2. The American will lock horns with Aryna Sabalenka in the tournament's second round.

Jessica Pegula revealed one advice her husband, Taylor Gahagen insists on giving her

In one of the episodes of the Player's Box podcast in September, Jessica Pegula opened up about ignoring one of her husband's advice, which she revealed was borrowed from his favorite tennis player, Monica Niculescu.

Talking to the other hosts, Madison Keys, Jennifer Brady, and Desirae Krawczyk, Pegula revealed that her husband likes the Romanian's slicing skill and suggested she do the same.

"Taylor just tries to tell me to slice more. That's always his go-to," said Jessica Pegula. "Who is his favorite player?" asked all of them together.

Replying to this, Pegula revealed how much her husband was inspired by the 38-year-old.

"Oh, he loves her. One year at the French Open, we're like sitting in the rain like we were watching her play out on one of the courts [during] qualies... She was playing like someone we knew and he was like that's nasty. Like just the cutter like the slice forehand. He loves it. So he's just like you need to just do some more spins and stuff. Clearly, my husband is not a tennis player or has no formal background... but that's usually just his advice to me and I'm just okay. I'll take it with a grain of salt."

Ahead of the WTA Finals, Jessica Pegula competed at the Wuhan Open, where she reached the finals and competed against Coco Gauff. The latter produced a dominant performance and won the trophy, registering a 6-4, 7-5 win against the American.
