Jack Doherty was arrested on Saturday, November 15, on drug-related charges in Florida. The police were called after the YouTuber was seen disrupting traffic for content, but they also allegedly found drugs with him.

Jack Doherty is 22 years old and has garnered over 15 million subscribers on YouTube. As per CBS News, Doherty was at the 700 block of Washington Avenue in Miami's Entertainment District on Saturday. He was with a group at first, but then separated himself and went on the streets.

As per the arrest documents, the YouTuber attempted to engage with the Miami Beach Police to "create video content, positioning himself in the middle of the roadway with passing vehicular traffic and creating a significant safety hazard."

As per the report, the police told Doherty to leave the roadway, but he refused. Even the group he was with told him to leave, but he didn't and responded instead,

"Once I'm done with this bet."

As per the arrest documents, the authorities then approached the YouTuber on the road due to his "deliberate refusal to follow lawful orders and continued to obstruct traffic."

Jack Doherty was banned from Kick last month; his brother supported the move

Streaming platform Kick banned Jack Doherty after the streamer crashed his car on a Miami highway on October 8, 2025. He was streaming and started reading the chat, which led to his McLaren 570S getting crashed.

His brother, Michael Doherty, supported Kick for banning him, telling TMZ:

“I know [Jack] is definitely sad about that because Kick is part of his main source of his income, so I know it’s affecting him a lot. And then, of course, on top of that, he just lost over a quarter of a million dollars on a car. Almost lost his life. So it was pretty hard on me and my family.”

Michael added that Jack should eventually be back on the platform, but his ban, if temporary, is a "good thing".
