The Golden State Warriors will play without Jonathan Kuminga during their road game against the New Orleans Pelicans on Sunday. Kuminga, who is on a two-year, $46,800,000 deal, misses his second consecutive game due to bilateral knee tendonitis. Good news, however, is that red-hot Steph Curry is available to lead the Dubs' charge once again.
Talking about Kuminga, the star forward complained of knee soreness before Wednesday's game against the San Antonio Spurs. After the pregame warmup, the Warriors wing felt good, and his availability was confirmed. Kuminga complained of discomfort during the game and was ruled out of the entire second half.

The 6-foot-7 forward was officially ruled out of Friday’s rematch against the Spurs. However, coach Steve Kerr offered an encouraging update in his pregame presser, expressing confidence that Kuminga should be back on the court sooner rather than later.

"Hopefully over the next couple of days as he visits with our training staff every day, they’ll get him on track soon, but (his status is) just day to day," Kerr said, as quoted by Sam Gordon on X.The Warriors played perhaps their best basketball of the season in the six quarters without Jonathan Kuminga. Steph Curry exploded for 46 points and 49 points in the two games against the Spurs and rolled out the Warriors' path to two fantastic road wins. As a result, the Dubs improved to an 8-6 record, currently sitting in eighth place in the West.
