Podcaster Andy Signore has sparked discussion for saying that supporters of U.S. President Donald Trump would “still find a way to defend him” even in the most extreme circumstances.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter) on November 16, 2025, Signore reportedly said,

“Donald Trump could be caught having sex with a 14 y/o girl- and MAGA would still find a way to defend him"

Donald Trump could be caught having sex with a 14 y/o girl - and MAGA would still find a way to defend him: “well she consented, she is clearly very mature for her age, and what a lucky education from such an important man…” It’s truly sickening & proves how mental politics is

Signore’s post comes amid renewed public scrutiny of the US President’s alleged past connection to disgraced American financier Jeffrey Epstein, following the release of more than 20,000 pages of documents by U.S. lawmakers earlier this week, as reported by the BBC, on November 15, 2025.

While President Trump has not been accused of any criminal wrongdoing in relation to Epstein, the resurfaced material once again seems to place his past associations under a spotlight.

President Trump orders DOJ investigation as Epstein emails surface

On November 15, 2025, just a day before Signore’s remarks, President Trump announced he had directed Attorney General Pam Bondi to open a federal investigation into Epstein’s ties with high-profile figures, including Bill Clinton, Larry Summers, and major financial institutions such as JPMorgan Chase, as reported by CNN on November 15, 2025.

In a post on Truth Social, the President reportedly accused Democrats of “using the Epstein hoax” to deflect from what he called “their disastrous shutdown and other failures.” US Attorney Bondi confirmed later that day that she had authorized the probe, assigning New York prosecutor Jay Clayton to lead it, according to reports.

Thank you, Mr. President. SDNY U.S. Attorney Jay Clayton is one of the most capable and trusted prosecutors in the country, and I’ve asked him to take the lead. As with all matters, the Department will pursue this with urgency and integrity to deliver answers to the American people.

The move followed bipartisan pressure in Congress to release all government-held Epstein files, a push the White House has resisted. Speaker Mike Johnson has since scheduled a House vote on whether to make the records fully public, after a petition reportedly surpassed the required 218 signatures.

According to media reports, President Trump’s allies have defended the new investigation as a “necessary corrective” to what they claim is a politically motivated campaign to link him to Epstein. However, legal analysts reportedly told CNN that the probe could also delay the release of the remaining records, as the Justice Department typically withholds information during an active investigation.

More about the latest developments regarding the Epstein files

The latest document dump, reportedly published by the House Oversight Committee on November 13, included alleged correspondence between Jeffrey Epstein and several well-known individuals, including Noam Chomsky, Peter Thiel, Larry Summers, and Michael Wolff.

While none of the released materials accuse these figures of criminal acts, the emails underscore Epstein’s extensive network of influence as reported by the BBC on November 15, 2025.

President Donald Trump’s name allegedly appears in several emails, including one 2015 exchange between Jeffrey Epstein and Michael Wolff, in which the disgraced financier allegedly discussed how the US President, now serving his second term in office, should respond to questions about their relationship during his first presidential campaign.

President Trump has denied all wrongdoing and said he cut ties with Epstein “around 2004.”

Still, the revelations have fueled political tension in Washington. House Democrats reportedly have argued the president is obstructing transparency, while the President himself insists he is “exposing others.” Privately, some Republican lawmakers have allegedly urged the President to release the files voluntarily to put the matter to rest.
