Grow a Garden: Trader Event patch notes

Created by The Garden Game, Grow a Garden is a tycoon simulation title that allows players to harvest seeds and sell them at the market as they turn into exclusive plants. In this game, you can also invest in Pets and Gears, which not only will act as a cosmetic but will also provide you with unique Traits.

The game's developers added a new update called the Trader Event on November 22, 2025, replacing the Smithing Event. This introduced new seeds, gears, pets, and other exclusive items.

What's new in Grow a Garden Trader Event update?

The Trader Event has introduced a new time-limited NPC called the Trader Troy. When he is offered the fruits he wants, he will give you exclusive rewards. This update has also introduced eight pets and six plants, among other items. Here is the detailed patch note for update 1.33.0:

Trader Troy:

1. This NPC provides players with a new requirement every hour.
2. Trade him what he's looking for to get an exclusive reward.
3. Completing a trade with him will start a streak (Each trade will add to the streak).
4. Growing the streak will upgrade the level of rewards you get when trading with him.
5. Players must be careful, since their streaks will get reset after a certain amount of time.
