“Demon time will last years”: Mizkif issues statement days after taking legal action against Emiru 

On November 21, 2025, Twitch streamer Matthew "Mizkif" went live on an alternate Twitch account and discussed topics related to his current well-being and relationship with streaming. For context, on November 4, 2025, Mizkif filed a federal defamation lawsuit against his ex-girlfriend Emiru, fellow streamer Asmongold, and associated companies.

The case stems from a late-October livestream from Emiru in which she accused Mizkif of psychological and domestic abuse, stalking, harassment, sexual assault, and blackmail. In response, Matthew claimed that he would be on "demon time" and subsequently issued his lawsuit.

Now, in his most recent livestream, he re-emphasised the "demon time" analogy, and suggested that there was more to come:

"Demon time is a lifestyle. It's long-lasting and it will last years."

This stream involved a series of exchanges between the streamer and viewers in his chatbox. One particular watcher asked about his condition these days. In response, he gave a brief about his day:

"('How have you been doing these days?' asked a viewer) Today, I did laundry for about four hours, went to the gym, went to the sauna... I ate. Then I went out with my friend for the past 22 years; he's in LA. Came over, we went to my Italian restaurant, ate there..."

Mizkif speaks about his mental health

Beyond his daily rituals, some viewers were curious about his mental condition, especially considering recent events. Mizkif assured his fanbase that he was in the right headspace:

"('How's your mental?') It's great, I'm not kidding you. I'm very confident, and okay... because I know that I will be okay... I miss streaming, I miss you guys."

That being said, he subtly hinted that he was still facing problems in the background:

"('Aren't you supposed to be in distress?') What do you mean? Just because I'm in a good mood right now..."

One particular "non-fan" chimed in, wishing that Matthew switch for the better. In response, the streamer claimed that he had improved himself:

"('I wish you did a reform act so bad, but actually reformed') I'm not gonna do a reformed arc just to make you guys happy. I've been reforming a lot over the past year... I've changed a lot... I'm very proud of that."

The viewer disagreed and Mizkif sarcastically responded:

"('I watched your streams this year and you didn't change for sh*t') F**k, you're right."
