Former Arkansas Razorbacks kicker Cam Little had missed a few opportunities in recent weeks. Confidence wavered from the outside, but inside the Jaguars locker room, belief never did. And on Sunday, that faith was rewarded.
As the first half expired, Little drilled a 68-yard field goal, the longest in NFL history.
“I looked at it and thought, ‘Crap, this is a 68-yarder,’” Little said. “You kick it long enough and straight enough, it’s going to go in. I just told myself, ‘I’m going to hit this ball as hard as I can.’ Usually when I tell myself that, I find success. So I just let it loose.”
The ball stayed true, clearing the crossbar as holder Logan Cooke raised his arms in celebration. “Once I saw it clear, that’s when I knew it was good,” Little said.

— NFL (@NFL) November 2, 2025Head coach Liam Coen called the kick a defining moment. “For a guy we’ve never lost confidence in, he went on the bye, came back, and set an NFL record on his first kick back,” Coen said. “Couldn’t be more proud of him.”
Little credited the Jaguars’ support system for helping him push through the rough stretch. “This place has instilled so much confidence in me through adversity,” he said. “I’ve never lost confidence in myself, and they haven’t either. That’s what means the most.”
Little had some fun on X after the game too.
