ESPN tabs Dolphins, Titans, Giants, Browns as potential sellers at the November 4 NFL trade deadline

It’s Week 9 of the NFL season, and there are a bunch of questions that still need to be answered for a few teams.

ESPN’s Dan Graziano explained which teams are likely to trade players away before the deadline.

The first team on the list is the Miami Dolphins, saying:

“The Dolphins, who just let go of GM Chris Grier and seem headed toward a major offseason overhaul, are among the most likely teams to trade away players for picks in the coming days.”

It’s crazy to think the Dolphins only let go of GM Chris Grier, but the guy behind him, who also took over in his place, Champ Kelly, was at the Raiders in 2022 when they hired one of the worst head coaches in modern football, Josh McDaniels. So the idea of trading away the farm doesn’t surprise me. This just may look a lot like what the shambles the Broncos and Raiders were left in.

The next one on the list is the Tennessee Titans. Dan had this to say about them.

“The Titans, who fired coach Brian Callahan a couple of weeks ago, have already started dealing away players and could deal away even more. Linebacker Arden Key and tight end Chig Okonkwo are available for the right package.”

This is no surprise, especially after they put Calvin Ridley and Jeffery Simmons, and Arden Key as inactive, which really leads people to think they will be moving on these pieces for draft capital.

The Rams could and should make a deal for either Ridley or Simmons if the asking price is right.

And finally, he rounded out his list with his last two, the Browns and the Giants, saying:

“The Browns have some interesting defensive players, in addition to Jerome Ford and David Njoku on offense. And the Giants could make a player-for-player deal involving someone like 2022 first-round offensive lineman Evan Neal if they don't want to trade away picks to help surround Dart with talent to finish his rookie year.”

Graziano’s intel flies in the face of what Adam Schefter just recently wrote:

“The Browns do not sound inclined to trade tight end David Njoku, but they have been calling around the league looking to add quality young players to their roster.”

They could still move him, but a smart trade idea for the Giants would be to trade for David Njoku using Evan Neal. This would help both teams in areas where they are struggling.

One team that belongs on in this list is the Raiders. What are they going to do with Jakobi Meyers and Maxx Crosby?
