Dominik Mysterio breaks silence after shocking reunion outside WWE

WWE star Dominik Mysterio had an impressive outing this week in Mexico. He was in the main event of Lucha Libre AAA from Mexico City: Alianzas this Saturday.

"Dirty" Dom teamed up with El Grande Americano to face the team of El Hijo del Vikingo and Dragon Lee at Lucha Libre AAA this weekend. Mysterio and Americano picked up the win after Vikingo walked out on his partner. The Lucha Bros, Penta and Rey Fenix, appeared on the video screen and threw down a challenge for the victors.

Dominik was irate after seeing the reunion. He cut a scathing promo after the video aired. The AAA Mega Champion accepted the challenge, setting up the match for December 20. However, he mentioned that Mysterio and Americano ran the show and issued a warning that the Lucha Bros would take a beating. The match will take place at Guerra de Titanes on December 20, 2025, at the Arena Guadalajara in Guadalajara, Mexico.

This will be the first time Penta and Rey Fenix will unite in the WWE. The last time they fought as a tandem was in AEW Rampage back in July 2024.

Dominik Mysterio is gearing up for Survivor Series: WarGames

The self-proclaimed King of Luchadors will be in for a huge challenge at Survivor Series: WarGames. He will go head-to-head against John Cena in a rematch for the Intercontinental Championship.

The 17-time World Champion defeated Dominik Mysterio on the November 10 edition of RAW in front of his hometown fans in Boston to win the IC title and become a Grand Slam champion.

Dominik Mysterio confronted John Cena this past week on RAW, demanding a rematch for the IC title. He claimed that the match would happen on his own terms in front of his home fans in San Diego.

It will be interesting to see if "Dirty" Dom can win back the title from the Cenation Leader.
