Freddie Freeman is a World Series legend.
The Los Angeles Dodgers' superstar is the only player in MLB history to have two walk-off home runs on his World Series resume.
That includes the walk-off grand slam in 2024, and the walk-off solo shot on Monday night in the bottom of the 18th inning.
The Dodgers now lead the series 2-1 over the Toronto Blue Jays, thanks to the ending provided by Freeman.
In the process, Freeman joined another exclusive World Series list, this one only including Lou Gehrig.
It has to do with Freeman's last 10 World Series games, in which he's been exceptional. In that span, Freeman has seven home runs and 17 RBI.
Only one other player has ever reached those marks over 10 World Series games, and that was Gehrig, according to Just Baseball.

Gehrig is one of the greatest players ever, and a model for every first baseman that came after him.
For Freeman to be on a list with Gehrig is just about the most impressive company a player could have on a hitting record list.
It really just emphasizes that Freeman, too, is an all-time great, one of the best to ever do it, particularly under the brightest lights and on the biggest stage.
