Carmelo Anthony has seemingly squashed his beef with Nikola Jokic after they had an awkward interaction following the Nuggets' 127-114 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday.
Jokic delivered a triple-double masterclass with 25 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists to secure the win for his team. Before heading to the locker room, the Nuggets' superstar was connected to Peacock's "NBA Showtime", where former Carmelo Anthony interviewed him briefly.

However, they shared an awkward exchange before Melo asked him questions related to the game.

"Joker, Melo here," Anthony said. "Hi Melo," Jokic said while smiling. "What's up baby?" Anthony replied.Following the awkward exchange, Carmelo Anthony praised the three-time MVP by saying that he made the game look effortless. Later, he asked Nikola Jokic to explain what the Nuggets were doing behind the scenes to deliver strong offensive performances on the court.
"We respecty each other's pace. When someone has it going, we give him the ball," Jokic said. "I think we have so many offensive weapons... we are using into all of them right now. There was a widely believed speculation among the fans that the former Nuggets star and the current Nuggets star were at odds with each other.

The beef speculations started last year when Anthony made remarks on the Nuggets' number 15 jersey on his "7PM in Brooklyn" podcast. The Hall of Famer had called out the franchise that had drafted him for trying to erase his legacy by giving the Joker the same number he had worn during his time in Denver.

In the pregame show of Peacock's "NBA Showtime", Carmelo Anthony gave high praise to Nikola Jokic. The former Nuggets superstar acknowledged the three-time MVP's passing prowess and broke down that part of his game.

The Nuggets have had a great start to the season. They are on a two-game winning streak and are looking stronger than ever on the offensive side of the floor. They will face the New Orleans Pelicans in their next game on Wednesday.
