Josh Giddey of the Chicago Bulls is having a fantastic season, despite the team cooling off in the past two weeks since their hot start. The Bulls celebrated Giddey's latest accomplishment on social media, passing several great names like Kobe Bryant and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, the Bulls announced that Giddey is now alone in 24th place in the all-time triple-double list. He finished Chicago's 121-120 win over the Washington Wizards with 18 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists, as the Bulls improved to 9-7 for the season.
It was Giddey's 22nd career triple-double, moving ahead of Kobe Bryant, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Kyle Lowry, Chris Webber and Michael Ray Richardson. At just 23 years old, the Australian star will continue to climb the rankings and pass other legendary players.

Josh Giddey was instrumental in the Chicago Bulls' clutch win over the Washington Wizards on Saturday at the United Center. Nikola Vucevic led the way, finishing with 28 points and 12 rebounds, while Coby White added 20 points, three rebounds and six assists.
The Bulls were off to a hot start to the season, going 5-1 in their first six games before a serious drop-off in the past couple of weeks. However, they maintained their composure and have bounced back.
After the victory against the Wizards, the Bulls improved to 9-7 for the season. They are currently ninth in the Eastern Conference, but they are also just two games behind the No. 2 Toronto Raptors. While the East was predicted to be wide open this season, nobody expected things to be very tight.

(Photo: IMAGN)If the Chicago Bulls can maintain a winning record throughout the season, Josh Giddey could become an All-Star for the first time in his career. Giddey is averaging a near triple-double of 20.4 points, 10.1 rebounds and 9.7 assists per game.
Denver Nuggets head coach David Adelman shared the sentiment earlier this week about Giddey playing at an All-Star level. K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Sports Network relayed the same idea, pointing to the OKC Thunder's belief that Giddey had All-Star potential in the trade negotiations with the Bulls last year.
"I was told that the Oklahoma City Thunder also believed Josh Giddey would be an All-Star at some point in his career, particularly in the Eastern Conference and in a role where he's best suited," Johnson said. "And that was Adelman's point last night here in Denver: he's in a role that is best showcasing his strengths."With the All-Star Game's new format, Giddey could team up with other international stars if he gets selected.
