Caleb Williams’ OT throw to DJ Moore wasn’t just the play of the game. PFF views is as much more.

The Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers delivered us, as NFL fans, one of the most enthralling and improbable games of the season on Saturday.

With just over two minutes left, the Bears found themselves down 10 to the Packers at home. That was until the Ice Man, Caleb Williams, took over with a little help from Lady Luck.

Cairo Santos hit a field goal with 1:59 remaining, and the Bears subsequently pulled off one of the hardest plays in the entire sport in recovering an onside kick.

Caleb Williams then went on to not just throw a game-tying TD on 4th and goal with a blitzer barrelling down on him, but he proceeded to call a game in OT with one of the most impressive deep balls at this point in his career.

More: Are the Bears the most clutch team in NFL history? The numbers say yes.

His bomb to DJ Moore was not just the play of the game, but by Pro Football Focus' metrics, it was far more impressive than that.

PFF says Caleb Williams' OT throw was highest-graded throw of the season

One knock against the young QB with a rocket for an arm was that his deep ball was funny enough. ON Saturday night in OT, however, Caleb Williams showed the world that he can uncork one with the best of them.

Off balance, being pressured yet again, Williams let a 46-yard bomb fly and dropped it right in DJ Moore's chest. PFF said that Williams' throw was the highest-graded throw of the 2025 season.

Caleb's ability to throw on the run and at weird angles has been on display from the second he suited up for the Bears. If he can consistently hit these deep shots moving forward, it's going to be tougher and tougher to keep him out of top-10 conversations.
