ARC Raiders players are now forming unofficial factions in the game. Streamers such as TimTheTatman and Shroud were recently part of a situation where streamers split into two groups and invited players to their unofficial gang wars, similar to games like GTA 5. Now, a new faction, The Civilians of Speranza, is setting out with pacifist values to recruit friendly raiders.

This article will go over the faction phenomena going on in ARC Raiders and explain the new pacifist group known as The Civilians of Speranza.

ARC Raiders sees rising interest in new pacifist group: The Civilians of Speranza

Let's start from the beginning. Embark Studios has not released any event nor encouraged the formation of massive factions in ARC Raiders. This is an entirely community-created phenomenon, which perhaps started when streamers began organizing their own factions to fight against one another.

For the streamer gang war between teams HutchMF and Burnt Peanut, players from respective teams' factions were asked to wear certain outfits and avoid some colours in order for them to align with the faction's identity. Soon, this trend began spreading, and more factions started coming up.

The Civilians of Speranza is one such faction. The X page, @ARCRaidersNews began posting about the faction, noting that they are a pacifist group trying to avoid getting caught in the PvP crossfire between Team HutchMF and Team Burnt Peanut.

According to the page's previous posts, this faction was created in ARC Raiders for those players who prefer to stay away from PvP engagements. For their pacifist approach, the group is also supposed to act like medics on the field, helping both sides of the war heal and get back into the fight. The Civilians of Speranza are meant to be a neutral pacifist group that sports the outfit shown in the post above.

They aim to remain out of the fight and focus on the PvE side of ARC Raiders instead to secure high-quality loot, especially during the ongoing gang wars organized by popular streamers.

The faction's rules also direct players to revive any player from either side of the gang war and try to recruit any friendly raiders they meet on their expeditions. Overall, The Civilians of Speranza can be expected to stay out of firefights and work as freelance medics on the field.
