WWE is just a few hours away from hosting its first SmackDown after Saturday Night Main Event. After experiencing a blockbuster major event, the creative team has built up great match-ups for the flagship show.
It will feature Jade Cargill returning as the new Women's Champion, Ilja Dragunov's United States Open Challenge, and many more. However, it seems Triple H may be cooking up a surprise for fans and might debut some new superstars tonight on the blue brand.
While this is yet to be confirmed, let's explore three WWE Superstars who could debut on tonight's SmackDown.
#3. Penta
Despite featuring on RAW since signing with WWE in January, Penta might make his debut tonight as a SmackDown Superstar and help his former tag team, Rey Fenix, against The MFT during his match with Tala Tonga.
Last week, Fenix and Shinsuke Nakamura were taken down by The MFT after they attempted to save Motor City Machine Guns during a post-match attack by Solo Sikoa and his crew.
Given that the villainous faction might seek to cause chaos tonight after Tonga's match against Ray Fenix on the blue brand, Penta might debut on the show in a jaw-dropping twist and come to the aid of Fenix.
#2. Lash Legend
Nia Jax is set to face Charlotte Flair tonight on SmackDown. Last week, she went one-on-one against Alexa Bliss and lost, thanks to a distraction from Charlotte. That said, Nia now aims to get her revenge on The Queen tonight.
Since it appears that Bliss might interfere during the upcoming showdown, Lash Legend might make a shocking debut during the match and help Nia Jax emerge victorious. If this happens, Lash could then ally with Jax and challenge the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions for the title in the near future.
#1. Oba Femi
Ilja Dragunov is set to make another open challenge tonight for his United States Championship. In a jaw-dropping twist, Oba Femi might finally make his main roster debut on SmackDown and respond to the open challenge.
Femi has been exceptionally dominant in NXT since signing with the Stamford-based promotion in 2021. Also, he has emerged victorious in 78% of his matches this year and could be a great asset on the main roster.
Having lost the NXT Championship to Ricky Saints at No Mercy, the creative team might now consider booking the 27-year-old's debut tonight on the blue brand and have him answer to Dragunov's US Title open challenge.
