The bye week appears to have come at the perfect time for the Philadelphia Eagles.
In Week 8, Saquon Barkley had a big day but then had to exit late with a groin injury.
If the Eagles had been scheduled to play in Week 9, who knows what would've happened?
But that's when they had their bye, and so Barkley got rest.
It's even a little bit of bonus rest before playing Monday night in Week 10 against the Green Bay Packers.

Is Saquon Barkley playing Week 10?
With all that said, it appears Barkley will be good to go for Week 10.
He was a full practice participant on Thursday, the first of three official reporting days for a team playing on Monday night.
The Eagles will still want to make sure Saquon doesn't have any setbacks, but all seems good.
They'll be hoping he picks up right where he left off.
In Week 8, Barkley's first carry was a 65-yard touchdown on Philly's second offensive play of the game.
It wouldn't hurt the cause for him to go out on Monday night and do the same thing against the Packers.
