Chael Sonnen is not buying into the talk of fight fixing that erupted after UFC Vegas 110. The controversy began when betting patterns around Isaac Dulgarian’s loss to Yadier del Valle triggered suspicions of manipulation.
Online chatter quickly claimed the FBI had alerted the UFC about unusual betting activity before the fight. The promotion chose to proceed despite warnings. The claim came from a user named Harry Mac on X, who insisted the Bureau had already stepped in. He wrote:
"VERY important tidbit here: the FBI notified the UFC of the abnormal action and line movement and gave them hours to pull the fight. They chose to continue, and from my perspective, are now complicit in fixing a fight."Sonnen fired back, pointing out that no evidence or timeline supported such an accusation. He replied:

"Hairy Whack! You list no evidence and have no idea who knew what, or when. The UFC has obligations & contracts w/fighters to put on fights. Your time frame for presenting evidence to UFC disproves your "theory" Let the Pros handle it, Hairy."Check out Chael Sonnen's comments below:
The controversy gained traction due to Dulgarian’s past connection to James Krause, who was banned in 2022 after a betting scandal involving Darrick Minner. The resemblance in betting line shifts reignited old suspicions, especially when sportsbooks like Caesars issued refunds to bettors within 24 hours.
So far, no formal investigation has been confirmed, and the UFC has made no statement suggesting any involvement by the FBI. It's worth noting that until credible information surfaces, the situation remains confined to social media noise.
Josh Thomson weighs in on fixed fight allegations at UFC Vegas 110
Josh Thomson believes the uproar over UFC Vegas 110 might be blown out of proportion. He said Isaac Dulgarian’s loss to Yadier del Valle didn’t appear suspicious when viewed without the context of betting swings.
Thomson felt Dulgarian was simply outclassed, and the young featherweight might not be ready for the UFC level. That being said, he also added that while the drastic betting line movement before the bout looked questionable, the fight itself unfolded like a routine first-round finish.
Speaking on the latest episode of Bad Takes, Thomson said:
"Well, I got to be 100% honest with you, I have not seen Dulgarian fight enough, except for last night, and that was it. So, like the fact is, when I saw him get taken down, get dominated, get choked out all within the first round, I'm thinking to myself, the kid's just not that good. That was my honest assessment. I'm like, all right, it didn't look like anything was fishy from one side or the other. It just legitimately didn't look like he was that good. He looked like he didn't belong there."Why did you not like this content?
