ESPN's Sunday Night Baseball pulls out all the stops.
One of the special aspects, which has contradictory merits, is the in-game interview. ESPN puts a microphone on a player in the field, and the announcers talk with him while the action is ongoing.
That backfired on Sunday night for Yankees infielder Jazz Chisholm.
While ESPN was speaking with him, a tough chopper pulled Chisholm to his left. He had to fire an off-balance throw and pulled it well wide.
It was an admittedly tough play, which we got to hear when the announcers literally discussed the difficulty level with Chisholm as soon the play ended.

The Yankees probably still aren't fans of how the in-game interview could've impacted Chisholm. Talking with someone else while trying to play a Major League Baseball game can't be easy.
New York's final losing margin wasn't record-breaking or anything, but it was ugly at times. The Yankees need to find a way to turn things around before the Red Sox get hot and put pressure on them.
