WWE will continue its quest to find John Cena's final opponent tonight. Two bouts in The Last Time Is Now Tournament will take place on WWE RAW, but that's not all, as GM Adam Pearce has made a major announcement.

At Saturday Night's Main Event on November 1, it was revealed that John Cena's final opponent will be determined through a sixteen-man single elimination tournament. Competitors from RAW, SmackDown, NXT, and even other promotions would have their names tossed into a tumbler and pulled at random. Over the past week, we've learned of a few matchups.

While the tournament will begin tonight, we've only got seven names revealed so far, with an eighth being a secret kept by SmackDown GM Nick Aldis. RAW GM Adam Pearce announced today that we'd get more information on tonight's show.

"The next two first round matches in the Last Time is Now tournament will be drawn at random TONIGHT. Everyday I’m tumblin’."

Pearce has promised to reveal two more matches in the tournament tonight. If the pattern persists, we'll learn about four more competitors on SmackDown later this week. That will give us the entire bracket, though some surprise competitors will not be revealed until their matches begin.

The WWE Superstars in The Last Time is Now Tournament so far

Tonight's episode of RAW will feature the first two opening round bouts. Rusev will face Damian Priest one-on-one, and Shinsuke Nakamura will battle Sheamus. Rusev, Nakamura, and Sheamus all have history with Cena, with the future WWE Hall of Famer facing Rusev and Sheamus for various championships, and Cena competing with Nakamura for a title shot against Jinder Mahal back in 2017.

The next two match-ups will take place on this week's SmackDown. Nick Aldis revealed the bouts last week, keeping one name a complete mystery. The Miz, another one of Cena's longtime rivals, will go one-on-one with Main Event Jey Uso. The Megastar LA Knight drew the short straw, as he'll be going against a surprise opponent, unable to properly prepare.
