WWE issues public statement; shares CM Punk footage from RAW

CM Punk is one of the most popular stars on the WWE roster today. However, the Second City Saint had an incident with a fan during this week's episode of Monday Night RAW. The Stamford-based promotion shared the footage of the incident on their X account and issued a public statement.

Jey Uso opened this week's episode of RAW to make his intentions clear ahead of his upcoming World Heavyweight Championship match against Punk. He was then interrupted by the Best in the World during his promo. While Punk was coming to the ring, he noticed that a fan was holding their sign upside down and pointed it out to the fan.

WWE shared the footage of the incident on their X account stating that the stars actually do notice the signs that fans bring to the shows. Fans have been bringing custom signs to wrestling shows for decades and it's great to see the stars acknowledge their efforts during shows.

Fans are excited to see if CM Punk can finally capture the World Heavyweight Championship again at the upcoming Saturday Night's Main Event.

CM Punk can win his 7th World title in WWE this Saturday

CM Punk is set to face Jey Uso for the Vacant World Heavyweight Championship at the upcoming Saturday Night's Main Event. Punk had previously won the title at SummerSlam by beating Gunther. However, he lost it minutes later after Seth Rollins cashed-in his Money in the Bank contract.

He now has another opportunity to reclaim the gold by beating Jey who also beat Gunther earlier this year to become World Heavyweight Champion. If Punk wins the title this Saturday, he will become a 7-time World Champion in the WWE.

Fans are excited to see if the Voice of the Voiceless will walk out of Salt Lake City as World Heavyweight Champion.
