Harmanpreet Kaur-led India scripted history as they chased down 339 to defeat Australia by five wickets in the ICC Women’s World Cup 2025 semifinal in Navi Mumbai on Thursday, October 30. With the win, the Women in Blue set the final clash against South Africa, who beat England by 125 runs in the other semifinal.

Several former cricketers took to social media sites Instagram and X to congratulate India on beating seven-time champions Australia to reach the final.
