The New York Knicks lost in Game 3 of the NBA Finals against the San Antonio Spurs, and there were plenty of notable celebrities in attendance.
But, for Game 4 on Wednesday night at Madison Square Garden, a new face is coming to town, as Taylor Swift will be in attendance for the fourth game of the NBA Finals.
However, as the report from Riley Cardoza of pagesix.com notes, Swift won't be attending with Travis Kelce. Why is Kelce, a sports icon, not joining Swift in attending this NBA Finals Game? There are a few simple reasons for this decision.
Why Taylor Swift is attending Game 4 of NBA Finals without Travis Kelce
"Page Six can exclusively confirm that Taylor Swift will be attending Wednesday's Game 4 of the NBA Finals, in which the New York Knicks will be taking on the San Antonio Spurs at Madison Square Garden," Cardoza writes. "A source tells us, 'She's a huge fan of the Knicks and really wants to be there to support them. She is going with friends.'"
Swift is reportedly going to Madison Square Garden for Game 4 of the NBA Finals, but Kelce won't be joining her based on this report.
After attending a Knicks and Cleveland Cavaliers game earlier in the NBA Playoffs with Kelce, Swift is now headed to this Game 4 matchup of the NBA Finals without Kelce.
Kelce missing this game isn't due to bitter feelings over the Knicks beating the Cavaliers in the NBA playoffs, but rather due to the fact that Kelce's Kansas City Chiefs are starting their mandatory minicamp this offseason.

Even though Kelce is a franchise legend, future Hall of Famer, he still has a duty to show up for mandatory minicamp and work with Patrick Mahomes as the superstar quarterback returns from injury after a down year for the Chiefs.
This report from Cardoza implies Kelce won't be in attendance with Swift, and with the NFL offseason programs underway, this is not a surprise.
But, Swift, a Knicks fan, will be in attendance with some friends for Game 4 of the NBA Finals, with the Knicks up 2-1 over the Spurs before the series shifts back to San Antonio for Game 5, which could be the series clincher for the Knicks.
