We know if Taylor Swift is actually a Knicks fan

Taylor Swift is going to Game 4 of the NBA Finals on Wednesday night as the New York Knicks host the San Antonio Spurs at Madison Square Garden.

It raises an obvious question: Is she a Knicks fan?

Swift saw the Knicks play in the Eastern Conference Final against the Cleveland Cavaliers, but that was with her betrothed Travis Kelce, who is from Cleveland Heights. So in that setting, the assumption was that they were rooting for the Cavs.

The Knicks made it out of that series, though, and now hold a 2-1 lead in the Finals against Victor Wembanyama and the Spurs.

Swift is expected to attend Game 4 with friends, not Kelce, and it might actually be clear who they're rooting for.

Is Taylor Swift a Knicks fan?

An exclusive report claims that Swift is indeed a fan of the Knicks.

Page Six writes, "She's a huge fan of the Knicks and really wants to be there to support them. She is going with friends."

The website cites an anonymous source as providing that information.

Kelce said on his recent podcast release that he wasn't trying to turn Swift into a Cleveland sports fan and just appreciated the chance at a "date night."

Of course, it's notable that the Swift-Kelce wedding next month is planned for MSG, the same venue Swift will be in on Wednesday night.

And apparently, she'll be rooting for the home team.

Why isn't Travis Kelce there?

Kelce's absence doesn't appear to have anything to do with the Knicks having beaten his preferred Cavaliers.

Instead, the Kansas City Chiefs TE has mandatory minicamp getting rolling, and so he won't get to join in another date night.

Swift is attending with friends instead.
