The excitement surrounding Love Island USA—and the first vote of Season 8—was so high that the app crashed!
During Tuesday night’s (June 9) episode of Love Island USA, the Islanders continued to explore their connections with the three new bombshells: Sol Mýa, Jen Terry, and Caleb McDaniel. From the looks of it, Gabriel Vasconcelos, who is currently coupled up with Beatriz Hatz, and Sincere Rhea, who is currently coupled up with Melanie Moreno, have taken interest in the new women, while Kenzie Annis, who only recently coupled up with bombshell Corbin Mims, seems to have a connection with McDaniel.
At the end of the episode, narrator Iain Stirling announced the first viewer vote of the season, tasking fans with choosing which Islander they want each bombshell to couple up with. Beginning at 10:30 p.m. ET / 8:30 p.m. PT on Tuesday night, fans were given two hours to cast their votes. But it wasn’t long until the Love Island USA app completely crashed.
So, is the app still down? And has the voting window been extended? Keep reading for everything we know!
