Chris Gotterup used his teammate Corey Conners' drive for his debut in the TGL Season 2. The tech-infused series started with the first game of the new season on Sunday. This weekend, the New York Golf Club played against Atlanta Drive GC.

However, for the Atlanta Drive, their player Justin Thomas was out of the game because of a surgery he underwent in November, and Lucas Glover and Patrick Cantlay also did not play in the game.

Glover and Cantlay were replaced by Corey Conners and Gotterup. However, Chris Gotterup cracked his drive before taking the shot, and he then used his teammate Conners’s drive to play in the game.

For the Atlanta Drive, Gotterup and Conners played in a team with Billy Horschel, who added an eagle in the last moment to help his team win the game.

The TGL matches take place in triples and a singles format. On the first nine holes played, players compete in triples, and then one-on-one singles on the remaining six holes.

Chris Gotterup has been on break after the wrap of the 2025 PGA Tour season and joined the TGL team for this week's event. He last played at the Hero World Challenge and settled in the T19 position.
