On the heels of the Formula 1 season opener, the Chinese Grand Prix will bring all the heat to the Shanghai International Circuit this weekend.
Sunday's race marks the first sprint of the 2026 campaign, making the format a little different from last week's opener in Melbourne. The Shanghai circuit features long straights and even longer corners, and new car regulations could make this an interesting watch for fans.
The Chinese Grand Prix rejoined the F1 schedule in 2024 following a five-year break, and has brought pure entertainment since. Oscar Piastri won the race last year, but him and McLaren have some recovery to do, as defending champion Lando Norris took fifth in Melbourne, and Piastri crashed out on his way to the starting grid.
