Former San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Jauan Jennings remains a free agent.
There have been plenty of rumors in this first week of free agency, and Jennings' name will keep coming up until he signs somewhere.
This was posted on X on Friday to get some Indianapolis Colts fans riled up:
Per source, the Colts will be signing WR Jauan Jennings to a 2 year contract worth up to $28M.

The problem is that the follow-up post writes that the sources for this information are "my hopes and dreams."
Jennings could end up in Indy, but there's nothing definitive out there on that.
He'd make some sense for the Colts if they could get him at a good enough value. They signed Alec Pierce to a four-year, $116 million contract to stay put, and then they traded Michael Pittman Jr. to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Without Pittman, Josh Downs should see more targets, but the Colts could really use another receiver to replenish their ranks.
Jennings is likely the top WR remaining in the free agent market, capable of filling multiple roles and usually grading out very well in the advanced metrics.
It's not clear what exactly is holding up his market, but the most likely case is that he's seeking more money than teams are offering.
At some point, he'll have to find a compromise somewhere. Until then, the rumors and fan wishes for Jennings will continue.
