The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are entering a must-win game versus the Miami Dolphins in Week 17, and wide receivers Mike Evans and Chris Godwin are on the injury report ahead of Sunday's contest.
Evans and Godwin have had injury-riddled seasons, as the veteran receivers have both missed significant time this year due to a multitude of issues. The pair just can't seem to stay healthy in 2025, and that has continued ahead of the team's final road game in Miami.
Tampa Bay released its latest injury report on Thursday, which included Evans and Godwin both receiving did not participate designations. The Bucs didn't practice on Thursday due to the holiday, so the injury report is just estimations.
Will Mike Evans, Chris Godwin play in Week 17?
Evans should be good to go for Sunday, as the six-time Pro Bowler was listed for rest on the injury report. On the other hand, Godwin's status is more up in the air.
While Godwin was also noted for rest on the report, the 29-year-old is dealing with a fibula injury.
Additionally, Godwin was downgraded on Thursday after being a limited participant on Wednesday, which is never a good sign.
Evans will likely suit up in Week 17, but there is still a ton of uncertainty surrounding Godwin. We'll see how the rest of the week goes leading up to Sunday.
