Charles Leclerc was visibly agitated with his performance at the Las Vegas GP as he could be seen banging his hand on the steering wheel of the Ferrari SF-25 after crossing the finish line. He then swore over the team radio, further sharing his frustration with a sixth-place finish in Sin City.

Leclerc had started ninth for the Las Vegas GP after a tough qualifying session for the scarlet duo. However, ahead of the race, the team hoped to fight for the podium with Leclerc at the front of the field.

Despite making several overtakes, he was unhappy with his performance as more was seemingly on the table for him. He finished behind Oscar Piastri on the road, whom he had moved ahead of in the first phase of the race.

However, after the round of pit stops, he emerged behind him and trailed him till the end of the race. Frustrated with his performance, Leclerc banged his hand on the steering wheel multiple times after crossing the finish line and said over the team radio:

"F**k that!"

Both Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton had started way lower on the grid than their usual starting slots. This meant that their race would have to emphasize overtaking other drivers on the track.

While Hamilton moved up nine places by the time the checkered flag had been called on track, Leclerc could only muster three overtakes and finished P6. There was a reason behind the Monegasque's difficulty in making overtakes, as Fred Vasseur said after the race:

"It's not today that we miss something, it was yesterday - P9 and P20, and the contact with Alonso at turn 1 for Charles. And, then to come back P6 and P10, it's a good race. It's more the quali where we miss something. We were in a good shape in practice [Thursday], but FP1 and FP2, and we missed quali, and its a bit of a shame because the car was good today. We know that with the choice of aero, it was quite impossible for Charles to overtake." "He was able to do a good move at the start of the race, but when he came back behind Piastri, he was stuck behind."

With a P6 finish, Leclerc has added eight markers to his points tally. However, this has also meant that he is no longer in contention for finishing fourth in the drivers' championship, as George Russell now has a 69-point advantage over him, with only 58 points left up for grabs in the 2025 season.
