On Tuesday, December 30, BTS's Taehyung turned 30, and his bandmates celebrated the same in a heartwarming manner. All his bandmates cheerfully sang the birthday song for the idol in their practice room, which resulted in Taehyung walking away shyly because of the members' sweet gestures. Most members, Jungkook, j-hope, Jin, and RM, posted the video of the incident through their Instagram stories.

Following the same, many fans and netizens grew emotional over the members' love for their bandmate, and were swooned by their friendship. Additionally, with Taehyung entering his 30s, many were also reminded of the fact that Jungkook is the last BTS member who's still in his 20s, making them sad over the group members growing old.

On the other hand, several other brands also wished the idol on his birthday with grand gifts. As per the Instagram stories posted by Taehyung, brands such as TIRTIR, Cartier, and Coca-Cola sent him bouquets and gift bags. Jungkook also posted a video of the idol on Weverse with the caption, "Happy Virthday". Moreover, the idol's other celebrity friends outside BTS, such as Park Seo-joon and Gini Park, also posted stories through their Instagram accounts to wish the idol on his birthday.

The official Instagram page of BTS also posted a collage video of the idol. Here are a few reactions from fans and netizens as several people came together for the idol's special day:

"the concept of the members coming together to wish tae hyung a happy birthday and having their cameras ready to record his reaction because they knew he’d get so shy, he literally went inside the closet like he’s truly bangtan’s baby 😭" said a fan

All the members closely embraced one another and cheerfully congratulated the idol for entering his 30s. On the other hand, the idol also shared that he would kickstart another longer livestream somewhere outside his company, and he said that he wanted to livestream alongside a few of his bandmates. The members were also discussing the different locations that they can hold the livestream at.

Some suggested inside a car, and some suggest their personal homes. Regardless, the idol also thanked all fans and netizens who wished him for his birthday and ended the livestream. In other news, the BTS members are currently preparing for their next group comeback following their three-year hiatus due to mandatory military service.

The album is expected to be released sometime in Spring 2026, with no exact dates revealed yet by the agency.
