Developed by Type Productions, The Lost Front throws you into a warzone with the task of joining a team and fighting opponents. To become victorious, you must capture all the bases on the map. Here's everything to know before you start your journey:

Map

A map is the battlefield where you and the opposition team will spawn to face each other. It is based on battlefronts similar to those of World War II, where you can walk through a long connecting trench, hide inside several building ruins, and capture three checkpoints.

While capturing each checkpoint, the game allows you to respawn on that spot after each death. The game's map is full of ridges and tall grasses that provide a perfect terrain for fight and flight.

Teams

Every time you enter the game, you get a chance to join one of the two teams, Red or Blue. On selection, you have to play for the same team until the end to maintain fair play. Before deploying on the battlefield, a minimap will pop up that allows you to choose among the spawn locations claimed by your team.

Classes

The game currently allows you to unlock four different army classes by collecting experience points. These enable you to perform various roles on the battlefield. Each class spawns you with three different starter items, which are a primary weapon, a secondary weapon, and supporting items.

Here are all the classes that can be unlocked:

  • Assault: Starter class
  • Medic: Unlocks at experience level five
  • Marksman: Unlocks at experience level 10
  • Drone Operator: Unlocks at experience level 16

Primary Weapon

It is the major weapon that helps you take down enemies faster while covering a long range. You can handle these Assault Rifles and Light Machine Guns as your primary weapon:

  • AKS-74
  • AKM
  • AS-VAL
  • AK-12
  • M16A1
  • RPK
  • PKM

Secondary Weapon

These are the handy weapons that can be switched mid-game to win close-range battles. Here are all the pistols, machine pistols, and explosives that can be unlocked and equipped as secondary ammunition:

  • Makarov Pistol
  • M1911
  • HDM
  • Skorpion Vz. 61
  • RPG-22
  • RPG-7

Supporting item

There are several supporting items, such as grenades, bandages, a drone, etc., that can be unlocked by joining different classes. After each use, you can purchase more items using in-game currency.
